Robots output

Cybermaps supports global and per-bot directives, append or takeover mode, crawl delays, and links to configured sitemap and discovery publications.

Robots directives and machine-readable usage values communicate publisher preferences. They do not technically or legally enforce compliance.

robots.txt remains dynamic in every Static File Engine mode.

Identity output

Configured Organization or Person JSON-LD is emitted on the front page only when required identity data exists. Optional VideoObject output is separate.

Schema output does not guarantee a rich result, entity authority, ranking, or third-party use. Values should match the visible site and the publisher’s actual identity.

IndexNow

IndexNow is disabled until an administrator enables it. Cybermaps sends the public URL, site host, generated site key, and key-location URL to the IndexNow service for eligible resources.

Local analytics and content-review records are not included.

WebSub

WebSub publishing is also disabled by default. Cybermaps sends non-blocking hub.mode=publish and hub.url fields to configured hubs.

Topics include the sitemap and robots.txt; while AI Publishing is enabled they also include JSON Feed, llms.txt, and the Cybermaps manifest. With physical publication enabled, notifications wait for complete reconciliation.

External sitemap validation

Cybermaps sends a bounded safe HEAD request to administrator-configured external sitemap URLs when settings are saved and when the sitemap index is generated.

The destination receives the WordPress server’s source IP and ordinary request headers. Cybermaps sends no analytics or report rows. The destination’s operator supplies the applicable terms and privacy policy.
