Why require WordPress 7.1+ and PHP 8.2+?
Because we’re building for where WordPress is going. WordPress 7.1 expands the native Abilities API with a shared public-discovery flag and new validation and execution hooks. That gives plugins a stronger foundation for exposing capabilities to external clients. CYBERMAPS builds on native WordPress abilities to keep its MCP, WebMCP, and API discovery interfaces connected to one shared system.
PHP 8.2 is our minimum runtime; PHP 8.3+ is recommended. Keeping a modern baseline means fewer compatibility layers and less time maintaining workarounds for old installations. We want that effort going into better discovery, cleaner publications, and new agent capabilities. We want to build on the bleeding edge of WordPress development—just like you.
Does this replace my SEO plugin?
Keep the metadata and editorial tools you trust. Use CYBERMAPS for its specialist discovery workflow. Choose one sitemap owner and coordinate overlapping schema output. Compare the workflows.
Does this guarantee AI citations?
No. CYBERMAPS makes eligible content available in useful representations. Crawling, indexing, rankings, and citations remain decisions made by each consumer.
Is free Core actually complete?
Yes. Publishing, diagnostics, and reporting are part of the standalone GPL plugin. Core has no licensing SDK, paid feature locks, or companion-plugin requirement for these workflows.
Will crawler analytics see everything?
It observes relevant requests that reach WordPress. Traffic served directly by a CDN or web server can bypass PHP. Read the observation limits.
Can I control what gets published?
Yes. Publications use shared eligibility rules and configured exclusions. Private and password-protected content is excluded. Review your outputs before sharing them. Review eligibility.
What does my site need?
WordPress 7.1+ and PHP 8.2+. Multisite uses dynamic delivery. Static publication requires a suitable writable root and compatible routing. Read the setup guide.
